Woodturning wet wood course 1-1

Service Description

This course is a great introduction to the world of wet turning. Most of Joes pieces start their journey from wet logs, as some of the amazing rare and exotic woods he gets hold of are not available to purchase dry/seasoned. You will get the tuition from a Registered Professional Turner, Yeoman to The Worshipful Company of Turners and registered Association of Woodturners of Great Britain Tutor. Under the watchful eye of one of the most sought after demonstrators and tutors in the UK today, you will finish a minimum of 2 basic pieces or 1 more advanced piece for you to take home as a memento for the day. Sensible clothing is essential and a short safety briefing will take place before you start. This is a full day course, all courses start at 9am, but Joe will try his best to accommodate if this isn't suitable. Included in your day will be all the materials and safety equipment required. Refreshments will be provided and is essential as taking breaks from the lathe is required to maintain focus and safe practice. Full insurance is also in place and Joe is DBS checked. Cancellation Policy

Due to recent times, the cancellation policy has been updated. Any cancellation will be accepted provided the booking is being moved to an alternative date. A cancellation without rescheduling will incur a £50 cancellation charge if less than 14 days prior to the appointment.
